Or at least it feels like it. My parents were one of the lucky few to get this wonderful game system and what can I say?? I'm in love. We played baseball, tennis, bowling, and more. It actually works you and is so much better than any other system I've had. It's just more interactive. And man, it's a workout too. Boxing especially!! I can feel it my upper back. I think bowling messed up my leg cause I was being all real life like and stretched it too far or something. haha. It was fun.

Woo hoo, work Christmas Party today. I am so excited...yeah right. I wonder who's going to be toasted this time. It's always good to see the party coordinator get plastered. So responsible. And she's already talking about it again. Weird. I would rather not be there, but it's doing work hours so I have to go. Plus it looks bad if I don't. At least I get some good food from it.

In other news, Brother and girl moved back in with my parents. It's probably the best place. He got a job with the union and gets free medical...well we get that anyways, but this will be better. Let's hope he can keep it. That this little I want to be 15 again phase is over. Just a side note, I love my niece. I almost actually started crying holding her because of not seeing her for so long and she came and leaned on my leg and we were talking. She just sits there and talks to me and I make little comments, although I have no idea what she's saying. I truly can't wait to have kids. But I'm scared because your whole life changes. You have someone you truly have to take care of. Your responsible for...wow.

Oh and Christmas Eve is at my house again. yay. :) So I have to prepare for that. busy busy busy

Seriously, I think people talk loud to here how wonderful they think they sound. There are two in particular I would just love a button, and one has an office and you can still hear her across the ways. It's so annoying...

Anyways, I just got my dad the coolest gift. I'm tempted to get one for P too, but I think he would get in trouble. It's a car PA system that plays songs, animal noises and whatever you want too. It is going to be a lot of fun. My dad should like it. There's the start of the Christmas shopping for me. I'm usually half way done by now...not this year. I'm also thinking about doing Black Friday shopping, GASP!!

My brother, who is 23 has an amazingly beautiful baby girl, Mea who's 1 1/2 and has been with the mom for about 6 years...Mom is young, very young. Don't ask..stupid boy never listens. Well anyways, he can't seem to make up his stupid mind on what woman he wants. He's completely being an ass to A and wants her and then doesn't. And this is all in the last couple of months. He's acting like he's 16 and the only person that is getting hurt the most is Mea. It makes me so sad and there is nothing I can do for her. I want to take her, literally take her from them and I can't. A doesn't have a good family life, seriously her mom...major drug user and alcoholic. Sister is insane and very hoochyish (yes that is not a word) and that's where A is staying. I've kept out of it but my brother seems to have no idea or care of what he's doing. A takes care of Mea soley pretty much. It's sad. I hate to see my brother like this. I always thought he would be great with kids.

So my dilemma is if I get all mad at my brother and even A, they can take Mea away for good and I won't ever see her. But I can't stand by either. I mean seriously, it's not good for her. I know I can't make them two be together, but there are things that happen that wants me to hurt them for making her cry. There is no physical abuse though. That i know of. My mom's already spoke up and she hasn't seen Mea for 2 weeks now. I've already seen changes in Mea...she says my name constantly and will not go back to her parents when I'm holding her...and she seems sad. Not as smiling as she used to be. My heart just breaks. Kids having kids I guess....yes my brother is 23, but he acts like he's 16.

I've decided to vent again on blogger since some of my family is on myspace and it's just been weird. Plus there are children and i have to watch my language...enough is enough. i'm going crazy. the only peace i get with myself is on my way to and from work and that's with traffic...not that soothing. seriously these are the things i miss the most...

-being able to watch a movie or tv show with no one explaining or talking throughout 90% of it
-being able to watch my trashy shows like I love New York or Nip/Tuck without feeling guilty about it
-the ability to eat whatever I want without first looking at cholestorol (i don't know if i can even spell the damn word) or salt or fat...dammit i want fries!
-ability to not worry about always having to get my laundry done before i go to bed

seriously i didn't realize it would be like this...and i for sure didn't know my aunt talked as much as she does...wow!! i love them, i really do...but i'm going crazy. Peter has this lovely thing called a garage...me, i have nothing. i'm followed and talked to all the time. i think it's cause my aunt stays at home and doesn't talk to many other people. i understand to a point, but still...i try to put on head phones and play my nintendo...she still talks. i'm not even watching the show, and she talks. oh god, help me love and be patient and understanding....

So everyone is getting on my nerves today. stupid people at work...judgemental people (which i know i'm being right now but dammit, they irritate me anyways), and people that are just so annoying. I think it's just been the week. I feel like maybe I'm sick, but not really. no runny nose or anything, but I'm so tired all the time. And I have no energy. It might just be my body saying take some time for yourself, no worrying about everything and everyone else. But we'll see. I have a 3 day weekend, but I might make it 4 and hopefully that will help. Now I just have to drudge through this week. And it's P's birthday on Friday and I have no clue what to get him. Everything he wants, he buys. Another irritant. bah humbug is the words today. I feel so out of it. I've even tried drinking those feel goods vitamin drinks, yeah nothing. i try sleeping early, nothing. it's just not my week.

ok so I'm just confused about people. It's almost better to have blinders on with dealing with them. I mean people just change or say that you just didn't really know them all along. So I'm kind of mad. I understand people change, but when they act like it's my fault then I have issues with that. I in some large way had this lifec hanging effect that made them this person everyone thought they were but deep down inside they are completely different. So when this revelation comes out, are you still friends with them, because supposedly you didn't really know this person. And what if you're dating, then what? see ya. I just don't get it. And I'm having a hard time because I don't want to tell these people to stop, because I'm being nice, letting them figure out who they are, but I swear if I hear that wasn't really me on more time, I might just dump a whole crap load of water on them to wake them up. Ok so I'm signing my life away today with the house. My appt. is at 3 and I'm a little nervous. I mean it's a house!! Holy crap!! I mean this is the real start to the grown up world. Then it's marriage, and oh my goodness, children. Which by the way, my brother's is due this month sometime. So excited.

I'm very tired today too, so it's hard to be too any emotion right now. Had a big family shin dig last night at my parents, and we stayed till midnight or so, drove home and then of course i couldn't sleep. What the hell!! My feet hurt from being on them all day and in sandals...and my hands hurt from sweeping the damn streets (yes we are a clean bunch) and I couldn't fall asleep. And I had to get up at 5:30 AM to go to work. Why do they let you have the 3rd off, but not the 5th. It's just wrong!! Wrong I tell ya.

Well that's where I'm at....busy, tired, and stressed. What's new. :)

In other news today, our closing has been postponed which means less time to do the wonderful makeover we had in mind before we moved there. But that's ok, because I'm still planning on taking a week and a half off and doing most of it. Paint paint paint. I will take some before/after pictures for you. It's going to be the shit, I know it. Now for some new furniture after this :) hehe. But this does mean more packing time. Bah! I hate packing. So I'm sitting here at work, hating it because one of the people I love to talk to is gone and has been for the last few days. He's my venting board. He will be gone until Friday. Then I'm like the undercover supervisor and that sucks too. I got my promotion, I got paid the promotion, however no one can know quite yet because some people can't do their job and they can't yank me out of my current department because that person will FAIL. So why do we keep her? Anyone? Yeah no idea. And there is really no one that can replace me and the amount of work I do. Ok I know it doesn't seem like I do work, but darn it I'm quick and get it done and then fool around. :) hehe. It's just aggravating.

Then I haven't been able to sleep real well lately, and that makes me more cranky. I keep having disturbing dreams about someone and it drives me crazy. It makes me doubt everything, but I'm like it's just a damn dream. Forget about it. I keep wondering if I'm just making huge mistakes in my life. Oh I've had too much time to myself. Sitting here thinking.

I'm very excited, I'm taking a two week, yes that's right, a TWO WEEK vacation from work. This is the first time I've ever taken that much time off. I mean I've taken always less than a week, so it should be interesting. And why do you ask? It's not like I'm going somewhere, I'm just going to painting, and then painting some more, and then a little touch up paint, and then some moving..and moving...you get the point. So after a long time of bargaining, getting rejected, having stupid investors come and sweep a house from under your feet, we have one. Yeah!!! So now we do the inspection, appraisal & loan paperwork and hopefully close June 28. The house needs a little work, but man once we're done with it, it'll be beautiful! I finally get my red wall and do what I want to do! Yeah!! I will post before vs. after pictures as we progress. I'm glad I have a handy man. First step, get the house, then bomb it for fleas and other bugs/pests. I'm not risking it with two cats of my own and I know they had a dog. Then, we're making the kitchen/dining room have a wall before the living room that will have an arched doorway (yes, very stylish) and then I will paint living, kitchen and one spare room. Then clean carpets and move in. :) Hehe yeah!!!

Ok so it's been a while. I figured that for most of you, we would catch up in one week....oh I'm so excited. I still have so much to do. Which is usual for me. This weekend though, I'm going to try to get most of it done. Peter really wants a Chicago pizza so hopefully someone local knows a good pizza place that can deliver a slice or something. :) I wish we had more time there so I can show him more things, but cause of work, I have to leave on Sunday.

Other than that, I've been sick with the Flu, which sucks. I don't recommend this thing. You feel great, then BAM! You're running a fever and can't eat anything. Last night was the first meal I could eat since last Thursday. That's almost a week. I've been living on crackers and soup! That's not good for me. I'm a little person that loves to eat. It's a good diet though if you want it. I guess. I'm glad it's over....geez. I craved food so bad. Last night I had rice with some sweet and sour chicken, so good. I know it wasn't the best thing to choose, but I seriously needed something with flavor.

I just want to go home, and crawl back into my 5 blanketed bed (yes I like blankets). I don't know why. I feel like dreaming is good for me right now, a little break from reality I guess. And the thing is nothing is really wrong...I'm just weird right now...Maybe it's cause the weather is changing and there has been a lot of rain and who knows....I've been so confused on feelings and people from the past...it's just crazy!! My head is overthinking...

My grandma is ill again, and it's scary. She's basically doing some internal bleeding and had been before. They used to be able to give her these chemical treatments, but they can't anymore, so it's a wait and see game...The only resort left besides her body healing itself is surgery....Now my grandma is old and has had a lot of surgeries and she has a lot of scar tissue. So really, that's a last resort. It's just weird and I know people are going to think I'm nuts but a good friend of the family and a "visionary" of sorts has had dreams about my grandmother dying in the springtime...my family freaked out last year, but everything turned out ok, but it's spring again and she's getting ill again....so i'm nervous. I believe in those visions and so do the rest of my family. it's the native american side of me I know...this is just hard because she is the Matriarch of this family. She's Grandma ya know....

I swear, one person in my family has always got to be sick or something. It could be I have such a large family, it's just odds :) Well back to work.....

Ok for the last two nights, I have been dreaming of really bad stomach aches, to the point where I wake up partially. And I know it's not real, but I still feel it. I don't get it. Now, I'm a big believer in dreams meaning things and stuff, what the hell!!! Seriously, I don't want any more of this. I don't remember the dream, I just remember the pain. And it was horrible. I wake up curled up holding my stomach. It's horrible. But during the day, my stomach is fine. I don't get it. is there a dream explanation on actual pain during dreams??

Just a question to get your feel on things. If i didn't have my wedding in Seattle or within a half hour of the airport, would that make you not want to come? What if I provided a shuttle service or great directions. I'm finding some great sites, but they're a bit of a drive from the airport around here and I'm really hoping people are like nope, not going to go if they might have to carpool or take a shuttle or something to get to the hotel/location. I mean, obviously I would make it as easy as possible...just wanted to see. Because having my friends there is the most important thing to me.

haha, my feeble attempt at that paint program...haha. Thank you all for being there. It's been tough, but this is why I moved home. As much as I wonder what life would have been like if I would have stayed in Wisconsin, moved to Texas or even Colorado with what seems like everyone else, I don't regret it. I couldn't be away from my family. Being able to be there for them is too important to me. Especially my mom.

Oh by the way, the Seahawks deserved to win that game and in my heart, they did. Damn Refs!! It was obvious whose side they were on.

Tough Weekend

My grandmother passed away and we got the phone call at 6:30 AM on Friday. I had just gotten to work when my parents got a hold of me. So I went home and helped as much as I could. It's sad. I saw my grandmother the night before. It was hard to watch her, because they had to just let her die. And so she laid there full of morphine, not conscious. But I said my peace and I'm glad I saw her one last time. The funeral is Saturday and she will be laid next to my father's father, my little brother and great grandfather. So at least she's by people that will take care of her. I know that's silly, but I need to believe that my family and friends are looking down. :)
It's been hard dealing with my mom's family, everyone talking about everyone else. At least there wasn't any fighting like we had first predicted. But then again, it's not over yet. *Crossing fingers*

So found out my grandma (on my mom's side) is in the hospital again, but this time it's not good. She's dying and quickly. The doctor gives her days. Not only does she have conjestive heart failure and something else...she has full blown cancer. They have no idea where it started and they can't find out. They can't do anything for her. So my mom is calling her family trying to get them here quickly and most aren't coming. That's hurting my mom. I mean she wasn't a nice woman all the time and I don't even have that much respect for her, but some of these people are her children. I don't get it.

Me, I'm sad. I'm sad for my mom mostly. I mean I have some good memories of this woman, but not a lot and it's just hard. It's been a couple days now and I just broke down last night. Partially because I was watching last Sunday's Grey's Anatomy (geez I love DVRs) and it was about this woman who died and had a DNR on her chart...and that all reminded me of my grandfather who I was really close to and it just hits you like a freaking brick that this person will not be around any longer. And my poor mom. She's taken so much abuse from her family...and I really can't stand but one or two of them and it just sucks.

So I got Mario Kart for the 64 and the gamecube (P went a little nuts buying game systems) and I love it! I missed playing so much. I mean I've seriously spent hours and hours on that game. It was almost as bad as Worms. But the best part of Mario Kart, which I do not have anymore, is spending hours in Phi Psi's basement playing. Ahh, nothing can replace those days.

Yeah I don't know about this...not someone I would compare myself to.

Ok the Seahawks win, and are going to the Superbowl for the first time ever! I mean I seriously never thought I would see this day! WOO HOO! I'm always a Bears fan first, but since they choked, I gotta go for Seattle. Going to have a party at my house with my new huge TV. Seems only right.
